1 – #RicePowWow event organised for 11th December

2 – big hugs for the Rice Snrs who visited from England this week, probably didn’t see enough of me, and who are probably now reading this at Auckland Airport waiting for their flight home

Thanks for having us this week, to the ATC guys for #SST2014 on Monday, Phillip Tusing for #RHUBNZ on Monday/Tuesday, and SEEK for their snazzy awards at Shed 10 last night.

Please feel free to add some numbers of your own in the comments below.  Nice to see you all.

Happy Friday.

I hate the word “Talent”, when you actually mean candidate.

Talent is a word to describe someone who is a musician or sportsman and a dictionary meaning was given as “a special natural ability or aptitude”. But a talented Accountant? They may have natural mathematics ability or even, rarely, a sense of humour, but to call every Accountant on your database as your talent pool is just ludicrous.
